Kevin Zeroli reaches an agreement in principle to sign new contract at AC Milan
Published: March 28, 2024Italy U19 international of Nigerian descent, Kevin Zeroli is close to extending his contract with Italian Serie A giants AC Milan.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that AC Milan consider Kevin Zeroli's new deal as imminent and it's just matter of time before the central midfielder puts pen to paper on the agreement.
The Italian transfer market expert added that the Rossoneri have held positive discussions with the agent of the Italian-Nigerian starlet, Rafaela Pimenta, leading to an agreement in principle two weeks ago and he will sign the new deal once the final details are sorted out.
Zeroli has been on the periphery ofAC Milan's first team this season, receiving nine call-ups in all competitions.
Overall, the 19-year-old has logged twenty seven minutes across his three first team appearances with two in the Serie A.
AC Milan legends Marco van Basten, Franco Baresi and Mauro Tassotti.were in attendance at the iconic Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on December 30 when Zeroli made his Serie A debut against Sassuolo.
Born in Busto Arsizio to an Italian father and a Nigerian mother, Zeroli became provisionally cap-tied to his country of birth last November after he was named in the starting lineup for a European U19 Championship qualifier against Liechtenstein.
Zeroli has caught the eye in this season's UEFA Youth League, scoring 4 goals in seven outings to help AC Milan reach the semifinals.
