Emmanuel Adewole Fails To Agree Terms With Olympique de Beja
Published: January 23, 2014
Former Arsenal youth - teamer Emmanuel Adewole, 23, has missed out on a dream move to Tunisian outfit Olympique de Béja after failing to agree financial terms.
The Anglo - Nigerian striker has claimed that he impressed the technical staff of Olympique de Béja after training with the club for three days but was offered a poor contract
“Beja could not meet the valuation of fees demanded and the club concluded as a result they did not want me.
“Their main problem is goals and they needed target striker, and did not want to sign me as a risky complimentary solution given their position in the league,” Emmanuel Adewole said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Adewole, who has a degree in Politics, International Affairs and International Finance from Drake University in the United States, is believed to be on the radar of teams in Egypt and Romania.
He had earlier been linked with a move to another Tunisian club Etoile Sportive Metlaoui in the January transfer window.
