Vincent Enyeama will not be playing in the group stage of Europe’s flagship club competition, the Champions League, following Lille’s 2 - 0 defeat to Porto in the second leg of their play - off tie.
Recall that the French team lost 1 - 0 in the first leg held at the Stadium Nord Lille Métropole (Villeneuve d’Ascq)on Wednesday, August 20, thus losing 3 - 0 on aggregate.
Super Eagles numero uno Vincent Enyeama was in between the pipes during both legs of the play - off round.
Yacine Brahimi and Jackson Martinez were on target for the Portuguese club this evening.
The draw for the group stage will take place on Thursday, August 28.
