Published: August 31, 2014
Inter Milan are observing at close quarters two Nigerian youngsters, Godwin Alex Joseph and Apeh Emmanuel.
Both offensive players, whose economic and sporting rights belong to SamVic Academy, have been invited to practice with the Italian club, with the hope of bagging a contract at the end of the exercise.
“They were spotted by the sporting director of an Italian club who came from Italy two months ago to scout for talents at a training camp organized by Samvic.
“We are hopeful both will be signed because the reports we are getting from Italy are positive, ” Dominic Egbukwu, General Manager of Samvic Football Academy, said to SL10.ng.
While Godwin Alex Joseph is an attacking midfielder, Apeh Emmanuel is a striker that has the same playing style as ex Inter Milan wonder kid Obafemi Martins.
If they pass the tests with flying colours, both will join Nigerian midfielder Joel Obi at the Nerazzurri .
