Despite hitting target just once in the last six months, Fenerbahce manager Ä°smail Kartal will not relegate Emmanuel Emenike to the bench for the time being
The Nigeria international has not found the back of the net in his last four games in the Super Lig, having netted last in the Yellow Canaries 3 - 2 win over Karabükspor on August 31.
Bringing the statistics to life, the African Cup of Nations top goalscorer has spent 288 minutes on the pitch without scoring, not taking into account his goal drought for the national team, having failed to score in his last 13 matches.
For the home clash with GençlerbirliÄ�i this Saturday, reports in Turkey strongly suggest that Emmanuel Emenike will be included in the starting eleven.
But in future games, he would have to sit on the bench if his fortune in front of goal does not improve.
