Gbolahan Salami has denied reports that he is on the verge of signing a contract with Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade.
It is being reported by the press in Serbia that Red Star Belgrade are in the market for a striker in the winter transfer market, and the number one candidate to lead the front-line is Warri Wolves star Gbolahan Salami.

“The is the first time I am hearing about this club, Red Star Belgrade. No contact has been made with them. For now, I am still a player of Warri Wolves. I am still under contract with them.
“If I am joining Enyimba, Sunshine Stars, Kwara United or any other club, it will become clearer soon,” says Gbolahan Salami to allnigeriasoccer.com.
In the past, Gbolahan Salami had been courted by clubs in Turkey and South Africa.
