Home Coming For Ogunmodede: Remo Stars Ambush Crown In Ogbomosho
Published: May 30, 2015
It’s the second successive game on the road for the Sky Blue Stars as they travel down to Ogbomosho having lost narrowly to Abia Comets in Umuahia last weekend.
Crown FC have had a good start in the Nigeria National League having a 100 percent record in the league, winning their first two games.
The game against Crown sees Coach Daniel Ogunmodede return to the club which he left to join Remo Stars at the end of last season and he’s expecting a warm reception from the Ogbomosho supporters who have cheered him in the past.
“I am feeling the agony of returning to where it all started for me having to play against a team I tutored in the past, facing the crowd that cheered me up for years.
“It’s going to be emotional for me and everyone in Crown FC despite that am expecting a warm reception from the supporters of Crown and have a good game as well.
“Well I am now with Remo Stars Football Club, am here for a football game and I have to do what I have to do professionally to go back home happy.”
