Juwon Oshaniwa Linked With Move To Konyaspor
Published: June 16, 2015
Following the relegation of MS Ashdod from the topflight, Juwon Oshaniwa has been declared surplus to requirements ahead of next season.
According to one.co.il, the Nigeria international has been told to resume pre - season training with The Dolphins but the idea is for him to maintain his fitness with the club in preparation for a potential move possibly to Turkey, where there is interest.
If we are to believe the publication, Super Lig side Konyaspor are thrashing out terms with representatives of Oshaniwa as regards a summer move while Trabzonspor have been linked with him in the past.
The left back was way behind in the pecking order of defenders at Ashdod last season, with only 13 appearances recorded in the Premier League whereas he played 24 matches during the 2013 - 2014 campaign.
Juwon Oshaniwa is rated in the region of 250,000 euros by transfer market experts.
Meanwhile, Yero Bello’s contract will not be extended by the leadership of MS Ashdod, meaning he has to look for a new club.
