Boyd Okwuonu And Gboly Ariyibi Get United States Under 23 Call - Up

USA Under-23s head coach Andi Herzog has included two players of Nigerian descent in his roster for a get - together ahead of the 2015 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament in October.
Boyd Okwuonu (Real Salt Lake) was amongst the eight defenders that made the provisional squad list while midfielder Gboly Ariyibi, who was on the books of League One side Chesterfield last season, has also been called up.
Ex Southampton, Leeds United and Tranmere Rovers youngster Ariyibi is on the brink of being promoted to the USA Under 23s thanks to his impressive displays for the Under 20 team.
The United States are in Group A of the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship alongside Canada, Cuba and Panama.
The Americans have played in the Olympic Games 13 times in the past but did not qualify for the last edition in London.
