Obafemi Martins Issues Rallying Cry To Seattle Sounders Teammates

Obafemi Martins was on target for the tenth time in the MLS this season as Seattle Sounders earned a crucial 2 - 1 win against Fanendo Adi’s Portland Timbers at CenturyLink Field in front of 64,358 fans.
With only 7 matches remaining before the end of the regular season, the Nigeria international has issued a rallying cry to his Sounders teammates, urging them to stay focused in their bid to qualify for the play - offs.
“Very pleased with our squad. Everyone stayed focused on the objective till the final whistle. #SEAvPOR #3points,” said Obafemi Martins.
In the Western Conference standings, Seattle Sounders occupy the last and final play - off spot.
The Sigi Schmid - led side will play their next game in the league on Sunday, September 6.
