Through official channels, Bedford Town have announced the signing of Afolabi Obafemi on loan from Vanarama National League side Welling United.<br /><br />A product of Leyton Orient, the Anglo - Nigerian suited up 22 times for Dagenham &amp; Redbridge in the League Two during the 2013 - 14 season.<br /><br />Due to his lack of first team opportunities while at Leyton Orient, Obafemi was farmed out on loan to Scarborough, AFC Sudbury and Bishop`s Stortford.<br /><br />The other clubs the 21 - year - old has represented in the past include Hayes &amp; Yeading United and Billericay Town.<br /><br />The Walthamstow - born forward scored on his debut for Bedford Town in their 2 - 1 loss to AFC Rushden &amp; Diamonds on Saturday.<br /><br />Photo Credit : wellingunited.com<br />
