Premier League Wrap : Ighalo Loses With Watford; Alli Notches Helper;Agbonlahor Opens Season Account; Anichebe&Moses StartCatch up on the performances of players of Nigerian descent in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Waftord lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane. Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo was in action for 90 minutes but could not add to his 14 goals in the top-flight, while Scotland international of Nigerian descent Ikechi Anya was an unused sub.

Gabby Agbonlahor is enjoying a new lease of life at Aston Villa, with his second consecutive start for the relegation threatened team in their tie with Norwich City.

It ended 2-0 at Villa Park, with the former England international netting his first goal of the season after 51 minutes.

Stoke City were thrashed 3-0 in front of their own fans by Everton. Peter Odemwingie was introduced in the 62nd minute while Everton
’s Ross Barkley worked for 87 minutes in midfield.

In the late kickoff, Victor Moses made the Hammers starting XI for their trip to Southampton. New recruit Emmanuel Emenike is on the bench.
