Osmanlispor FK Midfielder Raheem Lawal Aiming For Europa League Place Raheem Lawal has revealed that he had to be substituted in Osmanlispor FK’s goalless draw with Istanbul giants Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday due to a slight niggle he picked up.

The Super Eagles midfielder has gone the distance in five of his last nine games for the capital outfit but was hauled off after 62 minutes today, the least time he has spent on the turf during the matches under review.

“I was carrying a knock, that’s why I was replaced,” Raheem Lawal told allnigeriasoccer.com.

“We are aiming to qualify for the Europa League, so we want to finish in a position that will make us qualify for the competition.”

Osmanlispor FK, who also pay the wages of Super Eagles midfielder Umar Aminu, tentatively rose to fifth place in the standings following their goalless draw with the Yellow Canaries.
