Ex-Golden Eaglets Star David Enogela Returns From Trials With Club Brugge
Published: May 02, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that ex-Golden Eaglets star David Enogela has returned to his homeland after undergoing trials with Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge.
The Young Stars midfielder was called up to the Nigeria U20s get-together but arrived in Abuja with his agent and informed officials that he is nursing a hamstring injury though he was not assessed by team medics.
Now, it has been claimed by Enogela’s camp that he suffered a relapse of the hamstring injury while testing with Club Brugge for about two weeks.
The Belgian side are not throwing in the towel despite his injury setback and permitted him to return to Nigeria to treat the injury and have officially written to him to return to Bruges later this month.
Granada reps were in contact with David Enogela’s bonafide intermediary after the Fifa Under 17 World Cup but it appears Club Brugge are now in pole position for his signature.
