Exclusive : West Brom Leapfrog West Ham,Everton In Race For Odion IghaloAllnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that English Premier League club West Brom have opened talks with representatives of Watford striker Odion Ighalo regarding a move this summer.

The Nigeria international has attracted interest from a plethora of teams based in England, Turkey, China and Qatar ahead of the reopening of the transfer window but the most concrete interest has come from the Baggies.

Interested teams will have to cough up a maximum of 15 million pounds to land the signature of Odion Ighalo, though a Qatari topflight club that recently expressed interest in his services were told to pay 20 million pounds.

The former Udinese and Granada striker has also been linked with a move to West Ham but the fact is that he is not at the top of their target list, with the Hammers eyeing up a move for Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette and Racing club frontman Gustavo Bou.

Everton have been mentioned as a possible destination in the event that Romelu Lukaku is sold before the close of the window.

Since his arrival at the Vic from Granada in the summer of 2014, the 26-year-old has netted 36 goals from 78 appearances for the Hertfordshire-based side.
