Liverpool Whizkid Bobby Adekanye In Great Shape For Pre-Season, Dad Reveals
Published: June 30, 2016
Liverpool winger Bobby Adekanye is as fit as a fiddle and ready to display his much-heralded talents during pre-season training, his dad Ademola Adekanye has revealed.
There was a lot of fanfare when the Nigerian-born talent joined The Reds from Barcelona, but injuries curtailed his appearances for the U18s squad last term.
“Bobby is fit and is now in Liverpool. He has already started training with Liverpool. We want to forget about his injury problems of last season, ” Ademola Adekanye told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Bobby Adekanye had damaged his ligaments while playing for the Netherlands U17s earlier this year and missed out on the 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship because of the injury.
The 17-year-old penned a three-year deal with Liverpool in July 2015.
