Done Deal : Rijeka Flop Theophilus Solomon Loaned Out To Fourth Club In Croatia

Through official channels, Croatian First Football League club NK Istra
have announced that they have struck a deal with rivals Rijeka over the
signing of Theophilus Solomon.
The agreement between the two clubs will see the Nigerian attacker remain on loan at the Green-Yellows until the end of the 2016-2017 season.
Once touted as Nigeria’s next big thing by the press in his homeland, due to his closeness to a Kaduna-based journalist, Solomon has failed to live up to his wonderkid tag and has enjoyed loaned spells at Pomorcu, Zadru and šibeniku, without playing a competitive game for Rijeka.
The 20-year-old was surprising called up to the Nigeria U23s squad in March, having failed tests with the U17 and U20 national teams.
NK Istra have also completed the signing of Jamilu Collins on loan from Rijeka.
