Exclusive: Nigeria U23s Players Dressed Up In Hotel Rooms Waiting For The Bell To Ring

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Nigeria U23 players in Atlanta have been instructed to dress up by team officials, and have been informed that they should prepare for their trip to Brazil for the Olympic Games on Wednesday.
For the fifth day running, the national team did not fly out to northern Brazil on Tuesday, with the Sports Ministry and Nigerian Federation yet to source for funds to pay for their plane tickets or charter a plane.
At this very moment 1408 hours Nigerian time, which is 0908 hours in Atlanta, the players are “holed up”in their hotel rooms, but are aware that they can take off at any time.
Gent loanee William Troost-Ekong is already in Manaus awaiting the arrival of his international teammates.
The Super Eagles defender was permitted to leave camp by coach Samson Siasia, so he can play a league game for his club.
