UPDATE 1645 Hours : Nigeria U23s Still At Hotel; Siasia Banned From Holding Meetings With Players

According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, players and officials of the Nigerian U23 National Team have not departed their Indigo Hotel camp as at 1645 hours Nigerian time.
But they have been informed that they will leave the hotel for the airport at around 1800 hours Atlanta time.
In a related development, Chelsea star John Obi Mikel is now in charge of the team, with coach Samson Siasia relegated to the background by the powers that be at the Sports Ministry.
Siasia has been banned from holding meetings with the players and Mikel is now doing the “work of a coach” as he is one relating with the Minister regarding their travel plans to Brazil.
The squad skipped their workouts on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday and are unlikely to train again before flying out to Brazil.
