Done Deal : Nigeria Target Uche Ikpeazu Joins Cambridge United

With a statement published on their official website, Football League Two club Cambridge United have announced the signing of free agent Uche Ikpeazu on a short-term deal.
The attacker was released by the Hornets at the end of last season, and maintained his fitness during pre-season at Championship side Norwich City.
The former Reading wonderkid spent time on loan at League One clubs Crewe Alexandra, Doncaster Rovers, Port Vale and Blackpool while at Watford to enable him get playing opportunities.
Uche Ikpeazu was born in London to Nigerian parents, and was on the radar of Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia prior to the 2016 Olympic Games.
He could make his competitive debut for the U’s in this weekend’s match with Luton Town.
