Arsenal Head Of Academy Recommended Nwakali To MVV; Midfielder Finally Arrives Limburg

Nigeria U20 international Kelechi Nwakali arrived in the Netherlands on Saturday, September 10 to begin his career with MVV Maastricht.
The Dutch Eerste Divisie side announced with pride the signing of the central midfielder on the final day of the transfer window, but the player remained in London until this weekend because the paperwork was not complete.
Whilst waiting for the traveling document, Nwakali trained with the first team of Arsenal for a portion of last week.
Arsenal have an excellent relationship with MVV Maastricht as the Gunners Head of Academy, Andries Jonker, previously managed the Limburg-based team from 2004-2006.
Th 18-year-old Nwakali signed a five-year contract with Arsenal this summer.
