Super Eagles Players Threaten To Boycott WCQ Vs Zambia Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that a couple of Super Eagles players have threatened to boycott the upcoming World Cup qualifying fixture against Zambia after they were instructed by the Nigerian Federation to purchase their own flight tickets.

Some of the players were expected to jet out to Abuja on Sunday but have had a change of heart after the NFF wrote to them to sort out their tickets, claiming that they will be reimbursed upon their arrival in the country.

Unconfirmed reports say a top star in England is being owed approximately 15,000 pounds by the Federation, being unpaid travel expenses, and he has vowed not to honour the call-up because he is not sure if he would get a refund.

In the past, Nigeria internationals have complained that they were shortchanged in the payment of their refunds for tickets because of exchange rates fluctuations, for example the ticket is bought in euros or pounds and the NFF pays back in dollars after many days have passed.

Home-based pair Ikechukwu Ezenwa ( FC Ifeanyi Ubah) and Jamiu Alimi are expected to arrive the Super Eagles Bolton White Hotel and Apartments, Abuja on Monday, all things being equal.
