Man City Claim Draw Against Southampton After Iheanacho Brilliance

Manchester City have regained top spot in the Premier League standings
following their 1-1 draw with Southampton at the Etihad Stadium on
Sunday afternoon.
Pep Guardiola’s side headed into the interval a goal down after Nathan Redmond had broken the deadlock in the 27th minute when he got onto a misplaced back pass and rounded the goalkeeper before hitting target.
The Spanish manager was forced to introduce Kelechi Iheanacho at the start of the second half after thing did not go right during the first forty five minutes and the substitution paid off.
On 55 minutes, the Nigeria international lashed home the equalizer following a pass from Leroy Sane to take his tally in the English top-flight to three goals from seven appearances.
Before the contest against the Saints, Iheanacho had registered his name on the score sheet in games against Bournemouth and Manchester United.
