Finnish Veikkausliiga champions IFK Mariehamn are interested in signing Nigerian player Hakeem Araba, writes fotbolltransfers.com<br /><br />The physical striker has been invited to train with IFK Mariehamn, and would be offered a contract if he impresses the coaching staff. <br /><br />Araba is on the lookout for a new club after running out of contract with Swedish club Falkenbergs FF, where he had spent the last two years.<br /><br />The 25-year-old numbers Peterborough United, Dagenham &amp; Redbridge, Panthrakikos and East Thurrock United among the clubs he has represented. <br /><br />IFK Mariehamn were recently dubbed the Finnish version of Leicester City by the most famous footballer to represent Finland, Jari Litmanen , after they surprisingly won the league title in 2016.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br />
