Babajide Scores First Competitive Goal For Watford Before Linking Up With England Squad

Rinsola Babajide netted her first competitive goal for Watford Ladies in their 3-2 loss to London Bees on Sunday afternoon in a FA WSL Spring Series fixture.<br /><br />On 25 minutes, the Golden Girls were awarded a penalty after Babajide was brought down as she was about to pull the trigger and she got up to put Watford 1-0 up.<br /><br />Watford did score another goal to double their advantage but threw away their lead, before Wilson netted the winner in the 84th minute.<br /><br />Despite the defeat, Babajide was the most outstanding player on the pitch and picked up the Player of the Match accolade. <br /><br />The 18-year-old will link up with England U19s squad on Monday, ahead of their trip to La Manga for an invitational tournament. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br />
