Official : Ex-Liverpool Wonderkid, Eligible To Play For Nigeria, Joins Rotherham United

League One club Rotherham United have announced the signing of Michael Ihiekwe, with the deal subject to FA and EFL ratification.
The central defender will remain at the New York Stadium until the end of the 2018-2019 season, having appended his signature to a two-year deal.
Ihiekwe started off his career with the youth team of Liverpool, and had stops at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cheltenham Town before joining Tranmere Rovers in 2014.
The 24-year-old lasted the distance for Tranmere Rovers in their 3-1 loss to Forest Green Rovers in the National League playoff final at Wembley on May 14.
He teams up with ex-Nigeria U20 international Semi Ajayi at the Millers.
