Official : Chesterfield FC Secure The Signature Of Vastly Improved Striker Ugwu

Through official channels, League Two club Chesterfield FC have announced that they have secured the signature of Gozie Ugwu, subject to the Nigerian forward passing a routine medical.
The 24-year-old, who arrives the The Spireites from National League outfit Woking, has signed a two-year contract.
In his first words after the transfer was announced, Ugwu told Chesterfield's official website : ''There was interest from other clubs as well but Chesterfield stood out for me.
''I spoke to the manager and I pretty much knew what my decision would be. I also spoke to Gboly Ariyibi and he had good things to say about the club.''
Previously, Ugwu represented Ebbsfleet United, Yeovil Town, Plymouth Argyle, Shrewsbury Town, Dunfermline and Wycombe.
