Exclusive: Kalmar, Belgian Club In Talks Over Loan Deal For Liverpool's Nigerian StrikerAccording to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi is attracting huge interest from clubs in Sweden and Belgium in the summer transfer window.

It is all but confirmed that the Reds will have to loan out the Nigeria U23 international to a foreign club, for the simple reason that he is not qualified for a work permit in England based on the paltry fees the Premier League club paid to secure his signature from Imperial Soccer Academy in 2015.

Swedish Allsvenskan outfit Kalmar FF, who have an excellent relationship with Liverpool, are pushing to sign their former trainee on loan but face competition from an unnamed club in Belgium.

Awoniyi trained with Kalmar after his heroics at the 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup, and they were favourites for his signature until Liverpool snatched him from under their noses.

A partnership agreement was signed between Liverpool and Kalmar as part of the deal taking Awoniyi to the Anfield side, as the English club were impressed with the way they scouted Taiwo Awoniyi.

In the last two seasons, the 19-year-old striker has been loaned to FSV Frankfurt and NEC Nijmegen to get ready for the rigors of first team football.
