Man City's Iheanacho Birthday Message To Messi : You Are The King Of Football
Published: June 25, 2017
Kelechi Iheanacho has hailed Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi on the day of his birthday, and labelled him the King of Football.
The Argentina international celebrated his 30th birthday on Saturday, June 24, and he received a lot of birthday greetings from several footballers, including from the Manchester City number 72.
Iheanacho has never played against Messi in a competitive fixture, and watched proceedings from the bench as the Barca number ten opened the scoring after 21 minutes in City's 3-1 win in the Champions League last November.
''The king of football is #30 today @leomessi,'' Iheanacho told his 329,000 followers on Instagram and 105,000 followers on Twitter.
Iheanacho is spending part of his vacation in Lagos, Nigeria before returning to England for pre-season training.
