EFL Championship side Hull City beat Benfica 1-0 in a pre-season friendly at the Estadio Algarve on Saturday.
Ex-England U19 skipper Ola Aina put in a full shift for the Tigers, and the right wing-back was delighted that his team were able to overcome the former European champions.
Bowen broke the deadlock with a superb strike, finding the top corner with a sweet curling effort from a tight angle in the 59th minute.
Ola Aina posted on social media : ''90mins done 💪🏾. Good test against a tough Benfica side. Happy with the win! 🔸▪''
Barring an injury, Aina will make his competitive debut for Hull City when they face Aston Villa in the Championship on August 5.
The 20-year-old has been loaned out by Premier League champions Chelsea for the entirety of the 2017-2018 season.
