Real Madrid Battling Manchester United For The Most Promising GK In The World
Published: August 21, 2017
Real Madrid are not interested in Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea this summer, amid speculations linking the Red Devils star with a return to Spain.
Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is weighing up a move for another long-term target in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, rather than signing David de Gea.
In the meantime, Costa Rica netminder Keylor Navas will continue as first-team goalkeeper even though he is not trusted by those in charge at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Regarded as the most promising goalkeeper in the world, Donnarumma has been linked with a possible move to Manchester United, especially as he shares the same agent as Zlatan Ibrahimović, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku.
David de Gea's transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid fell through in 2015 because the paperwork was not submitted on time.
