Alex Iwobi Instructed To Report For International Duty October 2Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi is set to add to his international caps when Nigeria square off against Zambia in a crucial World Cup qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on October 7.

A top source close to the Nigeria Football Federation has informed allnigeriasoccer.com that the Hale End Academy product is among the players summoned for the meeting against the Chipolopolo.

Iwobi is expected to be among the last players to arrive the national team's get-together in Uyo, with Arsenal taking on Premier League newcomers Brighton & Hove at The Emirates Stadium on Sunday, October 1.

The Nigeria Football Federation have taken note of that fixture and instructed the former England U17 international to report for international duty latest Monday, October 2.

The 21-year-old had to withdraw from September's matches against African champions Cameroon after picking up an injury just before he was supposed to travel to Nigeria.

Iwobi scored his first international goal against Zambia on October 9, 2016.
