 Basel's Nigerian Midfielder Noah Okafor Notches Two Assists vs CSKA Swiss side FC Basel won their first match in this season's UEFA Youth League after beating CSKA Moscow 3-2 at Stadion Oktyabr' Artificial Turf on Wednesday afternoon.

Making his second consecutive start in the competition, Switzerland U17 international of Nigerian parentage Noah Okafor was one of the most impressive players on both teams, having set up two goals.

Zhironkin gave the hosts the lead on 15 minutes, but Vesco restored parity nine minutes before the interval after he was fed by Okafor.

With 11 minutes left on the clock, Pululu secured the win for Basel with Okafor tallying his second assist of the game.

The 17-year-old has been capped by Switzerland at U15 and U17 level.

Elsewhere, Chelsea midfielder Tariq Uwakwe spent 67 minutes on the pitch on his debut for the two-time champions in their shock 2-0 loss Roma at Cobham.

Faustino Anjorin, who made Chelsea's 18, watched proceedings from the bench for the entirety of the game.
