Nigeria's Standout Player Victor Moses Starts Full Training At Chelsea
Published: November 19, 2017
Victor Moses will resume full training with Chelsea on Sunday, November 19, having spent the last five weeks undergoing rehabilitation due to the hamstring problem he suffered against Crystal Palace.
Speaking after Chelsea's 4-0 hammering of West Brom in the Premier League on Saturday, manager Antonio Conte even hinted that the right wing-back could feature against Qarabag in the Champions League in three days time.
''Today the starting 11 was the same as against United. We played well in that game and we did again today but don’t forget we have to play a lot of games in a few days, so I need all of my players,'' Conte told chelseafc.com.
''Victor Moses is progressing well and I hope to have him back from tomorrow, for the game after Qarabag. It’s important to have all the senior players in good form without injuries.''
Moses has not featured for the Blues in their last seven matches across all competitions, and was not called up for Nigeria's games against Algeria and Argentina as he was still recovering from injury.
The 26-year-old was named Nigeria Footballer of the Year at an awards ceremony on Friday.
