Arsenal Winger Agrees Four And A Half Year Contract With Manchester United
Published: January 17, 2018
Arsenal's Chile superstar Alexis Sanchez has agreed to join Manchester United on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
The Telegraph UK added that Sanchez is now just waiting to find out if Henrikh Mkhitaryan will agree a switch in the other direction to Arsenal, which would trigger his move to Old Trafford.
Including commission paid to agents and signing on fee, the transfer of the winger will cost Manchester United around 60 million pounds.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea were linked with a move for the Gunners number seven but could not match the money offered by United.
He was a teammate of Nigeria international Odion Ighalo at Italian side Udinese before he was acquired by Barcelona, from where he joined Arsenal in 2014.
The Chilean scored 80 goals (46 assists) in 166 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions.
