It was a week to remember for most Nigerians plying their trade in the English League thus, while 17-year old Michael Obafemi made his topflight debut for Southampton, Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses ended their overdue goal droughts and another talented Sunderland teenager, Joel Asoro scored a vital goal for the Black Cats, his first for the club as they overcame Hull City in the Championship.

Joel Obi (Torino): Obi helped his side to a 1-1 draw against Sassuolo in the Italian Series A, scoring his fourth goal of the campaign in the process at the Mapei Stadium.
Alex Iwobi (Arsenal): The Super Eagles trickster got in among the goals for the Gunners as they brushed aside Crystal Palace 4-1 in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium.
Emem Eduok (Kasimpasa): Eduok grabbed a brace for himself in Kasimpasa's 3-2 win over Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super League at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadyumu.
Joel Asoro (Sunderland): 18-year old Asoro scored the solitary goal that helped Sunderland past Hull City in the English Championship at the Stadium of Light.
Bobby Adekanye(Liverpool): The Reds teenage striker scored twice for the U23s as they toppled Charlton U23s 4-1 in a Premier League Cup clash at the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium.
