Done Deal : Nigerian Defender Joins MLS Outfit New England Revolution

Major League Soccer club New England Revolution have bolstered their
defensive ranks by signing American-born Nigerian defender Jalil
Anibaba.
The experienced defender was offered a contract by New England Revolution following a successful trial.
He logged 176 minutes for the club during their preseason trip to IMG Academy in Bradenton, including a 90-minute shift against Malmö FF
Anibaba last played for Houston Dynamo, for whom he made 46 appearances providing two assists.
The California native has also played for three different MLS clubs Seattle Sounders FC, Chicago Fire and Sporting Kansas City, and spent his college career at youth teams Santa Clara Broncos and North Carolina Tar Heels.
The 29-year-old has represented the United States at U18 and U20 level.
