Published: February 10, 2018
Swedish Division 1 Norra team Syrianska FC have completed the signing of former Nigeria U20 international Sani Tahir.
Although the duration of the deal was not disclosed, the player has informed this website that he inked a one-year contract tying him to the club until the end of the 2018 season.
''I signed just for one season with Syrianska FC,'' Sani Tahir told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''You know I haven’t played in the Swedish league and I really wanted to play in Sweden.
''When they offered me the contract after playing a friendly match against Djurgården which was a very good game for me I couldn't reject it.''
For the upcoming season in the third-tier which begins for Syrianska when they trade blows with Carlstad United, Sani Tahir will suit up with the number 15 jersey.
The left-footed offensive midfielder previously represented Mikkelin Kissat, FC Sydvest, KI Klaksvik, Brönshöj BK, Vejle Kolding and Vejle BK.
