Published: March 09, 2018
The Polish Football Association will announce the list of players invited for the international friendly against the Super Eagles on Friday, March 9, allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed.
The big news is that the highly-rated Ipswich Town goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski could be in between the pipes for the Europeans against the three-time African champs, with manager Adam Nawałka handing him a maiden call-up to Poland's senior national team.
''The Poland squad will be announced on Friday. There will be only players who play abroad announced today, and after the weekend those from Polish league will be added,'' a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''There are no strange inclusions in the squad, Błaszczykowski who's injured will still be in and the return of Milik
''There's a new keeper, Białkowski from Ipswich. He is earning his first call-up as a 30-year-old while he was considered a phenomenon while in his teens.''
Bartosz Bialkowski represented Poland at U20 and U21 level, he turned out for Southampton, Barnsley and Notts County before a permanent transfer to Ipswich Town in 2014.
