Anderlecht, Everton Agree Loan Extension For Henry; Rohr To Scout Striker On SundayAnderlecht and Everton have reached an agreement over the extension of the loan deal for Henry Onyekuru for another season, according to reports in the Belgian media.

The print edition of Het Laatste Nieuws sighted by this website is reporting that it is not yet done and dusted that the Nigeria international will wear the shirt of Purple and White for another year as he only wants to stay if Anderlecht qualify for the Champions League.

Henry was immediately farmed out on loan to Anderlecht after failing to secure a work permit due to his inactivity for the Nigerian national team.

He had made his mark for the club, scoring ten goals in all competitions, until he suffered a serious knee injury against his former team, KAS Eupen, in December 2017.

According to Henry's agent, William D’Avila, who undoubtedly has close links with Nigeria's coaching staff led by Gernot Rohr as exclusively reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, the World Cup is still one of the striker's goals and there was a Nigeria scout in the stands for the game against Charleroi last weekend but unfortunately he didn't play.

Rohr or the Nigeria scout will have to return this weekend to the Jan Breydelstadion, where Anderlecht face Club Brugge in the playoffs, and Henry's representative expects that his client will be handed game time, especially as Kenny Saief is suspended.
