Official: Goalscoring International Midfielder Signs New Deal With Chelsea
Published: May 21, 2018Chelsea have confirmed via their official website that South Korea national-teamer Ji So-yun has committed her future to the club after penning a new deal that will keep her at The Blues until 2020.
The Chelsea Ladies midfielder was a key player this season, scoring 12 goals in 28 matches, including three strikes in matches against Wolfsburg, Montpellier and Rosengård in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
So-yun spent her formative years with the youth teams of Dongsan Info & Industry HS and Hanyang Women's College prior to joining INAC Kobe Leonessa in 2011.
Since January 2014, she has played for Chelsea Ladies and won the PFA Women's Players' Player of the Year in April 2015.
Ji So-yun She has been named KFA Women's Footballer of the Year four times in her career and scooped the Asian Women Footballer of the Year for 2013.
The centurion has netted more than forty goals for South Korea women's national football team.
