Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that CD Feirense midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has joined the Nigerian national team at their get-together in Uyo ahead of their international friendly with Democratic Republic of Congo on May 28.

The former CAF Most Promising Talent of the Year arrived at Le Meridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort in Uyo at around 1700 hours on Tuesday evening.

Another player that honored his promise to link up with the team today is Chippa United goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, who flew in from Lagos, where he was since Sunday after arriving from South Africa.

The goalkeeper worked out in the gym few hours after his arrival and it is confirmed that he will be one of the spectators at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium for this evening's friendly between the Super Eagles and  Atletico Madrid.

Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Tyronne Ebuehi, Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem, Dele Ajiboye and Stephen Eze are set to have their first training session with the Super Eagles on Wednesday after arriving in camp today. 

Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Junior Lokosa, William Troost-Ekong, Elderson Echiejile, Eddy Onazi, Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi reported for duty on Monday.
