Super Eagles Striker Departs AC Milan After Eleven YearsOut-of-favour Nigeria international Nnamdi Oduamadi has officially cut ties with Italian Serie A giants, AC Milan after eleven years with the Rossoneri.

Oduamadi, 27, joined the Italian giants in 2008 before signing a first professional contract with the club the following year but has mostly had to make do with loan spells at various clubs in the country which includes Torino, Varese, Brescia, Crotone and Latina before his last stint with HJK in Finland.

"It's been an amazing 11 years journey for me. Journey of success, trials and winning. I want to thank AC Milan for believing in me when I was signed 11 years ago. I count it a privilege to wear and play in this great club's Jersey,'' he wrote on his Instagram handle.

''I want to thank them for their ever so strong support towards my career. They have shown me love like a family but unfortunately a time comes when you get to move on.

''Moving on, I appreciate this club and all her historic achievements. Thanks so much to the fans and friends I have made here.

Oduamadi was part of the Nigeria national team at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup tournament where he scored three goals against Tahiti in their opening match.
