Twenty-nine players named in the Super Eagles provisional squad list arrived at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium at 1015 hours for their final workout in Uyo, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

At 1030 hours, the team finished gearing up and played a little bit with the ball before the commencement of the actual training, this was done to buy time for everyone to be ready.

Coach Gernot Rohr briefed the players at 1035 hours, before jogging and stretching exercises started, which also involved the use of poles and small cones to direct the players on how to move.
