Super Eagles Land In Russia, Hold First Training Session Tuesday Afternoon
Published: June 11, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Super Eagles have
just landed in Russia ahead of their World Cup opener against Croatia on
Saturday, June 16, 2018.
They flew out of their Avita Resort training camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria to Russia at approximately 1800 hours.
The Nigeria National Team will stay at their base camp in Essentuki during the group stage of the competition.
Tomorrow,
Tuesday, the Super Eagles will hold their first training session at the
Essentuki Arena and it will be open to the media and fans, with at
least five hundred spectators expected to watch the stars.
Nigeria's opponents in Group D Croatia, Iceland and Argentina have already arrived at their base camps and trained on Monday.
Rohr's troops also trained in Uyo, Port Harcourt and London prior to their trip to Russia for their sixth World Cup.
