Wilfred Ndidi Ahead Of Iceland Clash : We Are Ready To DIE
Published: June 21, 2018Wilfred Ndidi says the Super Eagles are ready to give everything when they face Iceland in their second group match of the 2018 World Cup on Friday, June 22.
Nigeria would become the third African country eliminated after Morocco and Egypt if they lose to the Nordic country, and Ndidi has said that their minds are now clear following the loss to Croatia and their focus is on Iceland.
''Even though we are players, we are also Nigerians,'' the Leicester City number 25 stated.
''We have put the loss behind us, we will give everything we have in the next game, we will die there in the next game.''
The Super Eagles will fly to Volgograd on Thursday morning and will
hold their final training session this evening, starting from 1730 hours local time.
The official pre-match press conference will hold from 1700 hours at the Volgograd Arena, the first fifteen minutes of today's training is open to the public.
