Published: July 05, 2018African Cup of Nations-winning midfielder Fegor Ogude has joined a new Premier League club in Russia ahead of the new season.
Newly promoted club Yenisey Krasnoyarsk write on their official website that they have completed the signing of the Nigeria international on undisclosed terms.
Ogude was left unemployed after he ran out of contract with Amkar Perm at the end of last season but it has not taken him long to find a new club.
The 30-year-old started three matches for the Super Eagles at the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa and was involved in every single game played by the national team at the Confederations Cup that same year.
A combative midfielder, Ogude captained Warri Wolves in his homeland before transferring to Vålerenga in 2010.
In 97 matches across all competitions for Amkar Perm, he found the net four times and provided two assists.
