Heart Condition: Abdullahi Nura's Two-Year Loan Spell At Perugia Cut Short, Back To Roma
Published: July 09, 2018Promising Nigerian right-back, Abdullahi Nura's loan spell at Italian Serie B club Perugia has been cut short.
Tuttomercatoweb.com reported on Monday morning that Perugia have ended their association with Nura, who is struggling to overcome heart-related issues.
The defender had joined Perugia in the January transfer window on a two-year deal, but has been sent back to Roma as he awaits further developments from the medical point of view.
Nura was involved in three matches for Perugia after completing his move but was not available for selection in their last fifteen league games of the season due to his heart condition.
The 20-year-old, who began his career in Italy at Spezia, was registered by Roma for the group stages of last season's Champions League.
He was included in Roma's match day squad for Serie A games on five occasions last season.
