A plethora of European clubs were interested in Wednesday evening's Europa League fixture between Glenavon and Molde at Mourneview Park (Lurgan), according to reports.

Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten says Erling Braut Haaland and other Molde players were being watched by representatives of Arsenal, Brighton & Hove, Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday and Queens Park Rangers.

Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian and Dutch powerhouse Feyenoord Rotterdam were among the fifteen clubs that watched the 28 players that took to the pitch.

Nigerian striker Daniel Chima could only show off to the talent spotters for only thirty minutes after replacing  Etzaz Hussain in the second half.

The 27-year-old tallied his fifth goal of the season in Molde's 5-1 rout of Valerenga on Sunday but could not add to his tally in European competitions against the British opponents.

Chima returned to Molde for a second spell in the winter transfer market after spells in China and Poland.
