Tyronne Ebuehi Resumes Pre-Season Training At Benfica, Chooses Jersey Number
Published: July 12, 2018Super Eagles fans favorite Tyronne Ebuehi has resumed pre-season training with Portuguese Primeira Liga giants Benfica.
Today
will it make it 16 days the Nigeria National Team were knocked out of
the 2018 World Cup, and the right back has linked up with his new
employer.
In a press release published on their official website,
Benfica noted that Ebuehi adapted quickly and participated in another
demanding morning session, and his welcome was reserved for the end of
training.
This evening, starting from 1700
hours, Ebuehi will train with the rest of his teammates again and
Benfica fans will be allowed to watch him for the first fifteen minutes
of the workout.
The 22-year-old snubbed
overtures from ADO Den Haag, who had offered him a new deal, to pen a
five-year contract with Benfica in the summer transfer window.
He has been handed the number 23 jersey for the upcoming season by Benfica.
Benfica
will tackle Vitória Setúbal, Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and
Olympique Lyonnais in friendly games before their first competitive
match of the new season against Vitória Guimarães in a month's time.
